As long as your home NVR is connected to your fibre/internet, you can view live feeds, playback past events, and receive push notifications anywhere in the world.
Are there any monthly subscription fees?
No. Unlike cloud-based battery cameras (Ring, Nest, Arlo) that require expensive monthly subscriptions to record or store footage, our IP CCTV systems save all video locally onto your physical surveillance hard drive inside your secure NVR. You own the hardware, and the software app is 100% free with no recurring fees.
What happens when Eskom loadsheds?
Standard installations plug into your home's existing inverter or UPS. If you do not have backup power, we supply dedicated LiFePO4 battery backup modules tailored to your camera count, keeping the cameras and recording alive for 4 to 12 hours during blackouts.
Can you use my existing cabling if I upgrade from an old analogue system?
If your property has existing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, we can reuse it to save installation costs. If you have old coaxial RG59 cable, we run fresh, heavy-duty pure copper Cat6 ethernet lines through weatherproof outdoor conduits to ensure genuine 4K digital data transmission without signal degradation.
